The Great Spirit blessed us with fantastic weather this past weekend for yet another fun-filled overnight canoe trip. We had over 50 parents and kids in 22 boats leisurely floating down the mighty Suwannee River. We swam, did rope swings, built sand castles, played bocce ball, played manhunt, saw fireworks and even saw a Sturgeon fish jump! There was lots of kids smiling and parents having fun too! It’s a fantastic way to wind down the summer and to kick off what will be the best year our Native Sons & Daughters Group has ever had!
