This unprecedented long, dark winter appears to be finally coming to an end. Our sons & daughters have been dreaming of this time since we were forced into hiding over a year ago. As our program emerges from hibernation like a hungry and sleepy bear, our families will gather at one of our favorite places for a weekend of traditional NSD family fun.
The Apache, Algonquin, and Sioux Nation Chiefs would like to invite all boys and girls tribes to come together once again at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park for a fun-filled Longhouse weekend. As with all Spring Longhouses, this weekend will have a Sacred Fire with a Broken Arrow Ceremony. If your child will be breaking arrow, please email your Nation Chief and the Medicine Man.
We will be camping at the lake area, featuring a newly remodeled bathhouse. We will have all of the family-favorite war games like BB Guns, Archery, Egg Toss, and Critter Race. We’ll also be pitting tribes against each other with skit performances , a first for most boy tribes. Expecting beautiful spring weather, we’ll set up the water slide into the cool Suwannee River.
Registration is now open!
$35 per person for tent camping. $40 per person for RV camping.
