Big How Big Braves and Princesses!
The 2016 Jax Cracker Races were spectacular, as expected.
We had everything from a hot dog car and French fry car, to R2D2 and a ’69 Impala racing down the speedway Saturday. For the racers awaiting their next heats, there were bounce houses, fresh popcorn and sno-cones, among other fun and frivolity. The competition was pretty stiff this year with some of the slickest, fastest cars we’ve ever had. And in the end, 24 AWESOME trophies were awarded for fastest cars and best in show.
Folks, this event is fun for the whole family, year in and year out. I heard it said by more than one person this time around, that the Jax Cracker Race is their favorite event each year. One thing is certain: The excitement in the air and the thrill on the faces of the little braves and princesses when their cars are flying down that track toward the finish line leave us looking forward to doing it all over again every single year!
A big thank you to everyone who turned out for the races Saturday, and we’ll see you again next year! Special thanks to Snoring Mountain, Salty Gator, Iron Wolf and Wild Tiger for their hard work to make this event run so smoothly. And as always, a BIG HOW to Bull Gator for use of the facility to run the race!
