SUMMARY:Suzie Q. Miller Family Campout
DESCRIPTION:The 9th annual Suzie Q Miller Family Campout will be January 18th – January 20th at Camp Montgomery. So gather the family together and enjoy some good old fashioned quality time together under the stars. We will have archery\, canoeing\, hiking\, frisbee golf\, fishing and other facilities available to us. On Saturday night join us for a federation feast – meat will be provided by the federation and tribes will provide side dishes. You can register for Tent camping\, RVs slips (limited supply) or Cabins (limited supply).  There is also an optional signup for a Challenge Course. \nRegistration and additional details are available on Circle Bridge. \nSign up for side dishes \nSign up for activity assistance \nThis weekend is convenient for a family campout as it does not conflict with the Super Bowl and is the weekend before MLK Day. See additional detail about Camp Montgomery \nThis campout is in honor of Suzie Q Miller. Suzie was an active Federation mom married to Rodney Miller (Wild Horse) and mother to Page (Little Pony). She was known to be an awesome person\, wife\, and mother who really supported the program and was active in organizing many events including campouts. After battling cancer for 5 years\, Suzie joined the Great Spirit in 2010. While with us\, she lived her life to the fullest and made a big impression on many who knew her.

SUMMARY:Informational Night (Mandarin Presbyterian Church)
DESCRIPTION:Native Sons and Daughters is an organization focused on building stronger relationships between parents and children. We are a non-profit organization striving toward lifelong bonds. Unlike most other organizations\, we keep both parent and child active together through small group (Tribe) activities and large group (Nation) activities. \nNative Sons and Daughters programs are most active during the school year. Each fall we open our doors to the public and host a series of informational open house events where parents can hear about the programs from active members\, both parents and children\, and get answers for any questions they might have. \nWe understand time is valuable and lives are busy\, so we plan a variety of events to help you enjoy quality time with your child. The more you participate\, the more memories you will build. The Native American theme serves as a common level of interest between parent and child not only to learn about that culture but to reinforce family values. \nFor more information about the Native Sons and Daughters of Jacksonville and the Timucuan Longhouse\, please email info@nsdjax.org. \nPlease join us.
